Verruca's & Warts
A verruca is a small flat wart often found on the sole of the foot. They often have small black dots under the hard skin.
The common wart is a small rough, hard, nodular growth on the skin and develop due to an over accumulation of hyper keratinised cells. They often occur in groups on the hands or knees but can be found anywhere.
Anyone can suffer from verruca's and warts, but are mostly found in children.
They are often caused by a viral condition called the Human Papilloma Virus, and whilst they are not harmless, they are contagious

Treatment
Cryotherapy is an advanced freezing innovation that is a fast, effective and safe solution for removal of verruca's and warts. Liquid nitrogen is applied using a special spray gun. Often the surface of the wart or verruca will need to be filed down beforehand. The frozen skin lesion will turn white, following with a scab, and will then fall off between 1 and 2 weeks later. Sometimes a second treatment will be needed.
